The Road to Power Snuggling
A University of Rochester 2014 study, found that just watching and then discussing five movies about relationships over a month’s time had a major impact on bringing couples closer together and maintaining love for many years afterward.

Dr. Ronald Rogge provided the couples with a list of 47 movies about relationships to choose from and 12 questions to discuss, after viewing five of these movies. The questions included, “How did the movie couple handle arguments? Were they able to open up and tell each other how they really felt, or did they tend to just snap at each other with anger? Did they try using humor to keep things from getting nasty?”

The study found that couples who used the “movie method” were more than twice as likely to remain together after three years compared to other couples.
